EXCURSION NEMEA

Ancient Nemea is a village in the prefecture of Corinth with 592 inhabitants ( 2011) . Is homonymous district of Nemea Municipality.

Famous ancient city , known by the mythical lion that killed Hercules . The ruins of the Temple of Nemean Zeus , from which only survived three columns and several other vertebrae , located a short distance from the modern village of Ancient Nemea. Famous are the Nemean wines produced in the region.
