The PEGASUS ROOMS is located at the center of Ancient Corinth, a few yards from the main square of the village. The building reflects the special architecture and history of the town, with stone arches, a sit in patio under orange and lemon trees, surrounded by a garden full of lavender and mint plants. The location has been carefully selected to combine relaxation and comfort at a short distance from all local historic, cultural and scenic points of interest in the immediate area, such as the museum, the ancient city and the podium where St Paul addressed the Corinthians, as well as the castle of Acrocorinth with its superb view. It also allows for short driving excursions to many other regional attractions, such as Nemea, Mycenae, Argos, Nauplion and Epidaurus. Many of the most beautiful beaches of Corinthia are also located within a short driving distance, including the one where the famous Beautiful Helen of Troy used to take her bath. The actual distance of the PEGASUS ROOMS complex from the Archaeological site is 50m, 1.5 Km from the imposing and historic castle of Acrocorinth and 2.5 Km from the north coast of Corinth.
The original PEGASUS was built in 2015 with 9 rooms able to accommodate between 2 to 6 people, depending on the room. The newer 7 rooms complex is right across the street, built in 2020 under the same architectural principles, also providing an excellent view of the surrounding landscape, down to the sea. The owners, Nikos & Marina, have been involved in the tourism industry for the last 30 years, since they also used to operate a successful traditional tavern in town. It is our pleasure and real honor to welcome your family to PEGASUS. Your stay will be comfortable and pleasant with full respect to all the famous traditions and principles of Greek hospitality.
